SHOOR - Sorkh (Persian red)

“Shoor” — named after a passionate and soulful Persian musical mode — celebrates the deep emotional rhythm shared between women. Two whirling figures move in unison, embodying strength, sisterhood, and inner liberation.

The circular motion of their dance speaks to a timeless resilience — a dance born not from performance, but from survival, spirit, and joy. Persian calligraphy weaves through the piece like music, connecting tradition with modern expression.
